Consideration of Abandonment of Rights-of-Way -- Brady Way

NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC

CONSIDERATION OF ABANDONMENT

OF RIGHTS-OF-WAY ON BRADY WAY

A request has been made to the Oconee County Board of Commissioners to formally abandon rights-of-way on Brady Way (Downs Creek Subdivision).  At its August 1, 2017 meeting, said Board of Commissioners determined that such rights-of-way have ceased to be used by the public to the extent that no substantial public purpose is served by Brady Way.

Pursuant to O.C.G.A. §32-7-2, the Oconee County Board of Commissioners will hold a first Public Hearing during its Agenda Setting Meeting on August 29, 2017, and a second Public Hearing during its Regular Meeting on September 5, 2017, with action at the September 5, 2017 Regular Meeting to determine whether or not to abandon the rights-of-way.   Commissioner meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. in the Commissioners Meeting Chambers of the Oconee County Courthouse.  All those having an interest in this request are invited to attend.
