Hours: 

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday &  Friday 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.                                                     

No birth or death certificates issued on Thursdays.


The Oconee County Judge of Probate Court is the Registrar and Custodian of vital records, which include birth and death records. Certified copies of birth and death records may be obtained at a cost of $25 for the first certified and $5.00 for each additional certified at that time. 

 

The Oconee County Probate Court can only issue birth records of individuals born in Georgia.

 

The Oconee County Probate Court can only issue death records of individuals that died in Georgia.

 

You must have a picture ID to obtain a birth certificate.

 

In order to obtain a certified birth record for someone other that yourself, you MUST be immediate family; (Mother, Father, Brother, Sister, Grandparent)
 
Payment: Cash, Credit Card, Money Order 
(NO CHECKS ACCEPTED)
Please Note: WHEN PAYING BY CREDIT CARD, A USER FEE WILL BE ADDED.
