The Probate Court will be open to the public on Thursday, May 14, 2020.

Only two customers will be allowed into the office at one time.

Traffic Court

All Traffic Court scheduled for the month of May has been cancelled and will be rescheduled.

Traffic Court for June 11, 2020, has been cancelled and will be rescheduled.

Weapons Carry License and Marriage License

In order to make application for a Weapons Carry License or a Marriage License, you will be required to make an appointment.

You should begin the application process online prior to your appointment.

Weapons Carry License Application:

Note* If a weapons carry license expires between February 13, 2020, and June 12, 2020, the license is considered valid and a renewal can be issued, provided the holder of the license applies for renewal within 120 days of the expiration date reflected on the license.

If you do not have online access, to begin the application process, you will be directed to our office kiosk when you arrive for your appointment.

Hours: 


Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. 
Applicants must apply in person.

Requirements:
1) Each applicant must provide one (1) of the following forms of photo ID in order to obtain a marriage license:
  • Georgia issued Driver's license
  • Georgia issued Identification Card
  • Armed Forces Identification Card
  • U.S. Passport
  • Driver's License issued by another state within the U.S.
2) At least one applicant must be a Georgia resident.

3) Applicant must be 18 years old or have parental consent if 16-17. No one under 16.

4) If applicant had a previous marriage, documentation must be provided.

5) Cost: $66.00 (without premarital education certificate)
$26.00 (with premarital education certificate)

Payment: Cash, Credit Card, Money Order (NO CHECKS ACCEPTED)
