Tennis For Life, Inc., co-sponsored by Oconee County Parks and Recreation, provides tennis programs and lessons at Herman C. Michael Park. Tennis for Life provides a full range of recreational tennis activities to people of all ages and abilities in Oconee County.

Tennis - COTA League Play
Overview
Founded in 2000, COTA is a volunteer based community tennis association affiliated with the USTA. The purpose of COTA is to promote and sustain interest in the game of tennis; to provide league play for junior, adult, and senior players; and to promote sportsmanship, recreation, and the social interaction associated with team competition.
COTA is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization and serves Clarke, Oconee, Barrow, Morgan, Madison, and Jackson counties. Membership is open to all residents of the six county area who have an active USTA membership or a parent of a child with an active membership.
League Captain Information
- All USTA teams must complete registration form and pay court fee in order to reserve courts for any matches.
- Team captain must be an Oconee County resident and must provide residency proof at time of registration.
- Team roster must be provided to OVP front office prior to release of court schedule for season.
- USTA teams are accepted based on court availability by the order that the teams registered and pay fee.
- Courts for make-up matches must be coordinated in advance through the park office at Oconee Veterans Park by the Team Captain.
- Oconee Veterans Park courts 7 & 8 are for public use only, NO league play or practice is permitted. If any team member violates this policy the entire team may lose the privilege of using any OVP courts without refund.
