January 4 BOC Meeting Highlights

The Oconee County Board of Commissioners held its regular meeting on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. The following actions were taken at the meeting:

  • Approved with one condition Rezone P21-0213 for ±4.93 acres located on Union Church Road from AG (Agricultural District) to AR (Agricultural Residential District)
  • Approved Public Safety Officials and First Responder Supplemental Grant along with budget amendment as necessary 
  • Approved the 2022 Consolidated Appropriations Act Funding Contract, which provides additional support for nutrition services to aid Senior Center Home Delivered Meals clients during the COVID-19 pandemic
  • Approved Budget Submittal Plan for Fiscal Year 2023
  • Approved Oconee County Elections Qualifying Fees for 2022 
  • Approved purchase of Fire Department Air Truck and budget amendments as necessary
  • Approved ACCG resolution supporting reform to the Georgia Annexation Dispute Resolution Law
